Relationships, Education, and Communication
"Understanding can overcome any situation, however mysterious or insurmountable it may appear to be."

Relationships, Education, and Communication
Superior care starts with a solid relationship with my patients and my community. If I understand and know the patients I am working with, then I gain insight into the solutions that would work best for them.
Maintaining strong relationships with my community allows me to tap into the rich resources of Northeast Wisconsin. I am able to connect patients to the best support in their area.
Information is power. I feel educating patients provides them with a very powerful tool. There is nothing worse than worrying about a health issue and convincing yourself it is absolutely the worst possible outcome. It is this common situation that proves the important role of education in health issues…especially breast health issues. Education empowers patients.
Education is a two-way street. If a patient is given the right information, they are better able to participate in their care, understand what is happening, and make informed decisions. If the patient understands, then they can work with the provider to find the solutions to best meet their needs. This interaction between information, the patient, and the provider is essential. It cannot be a one-way street.
This also applies to communication with your regular health provider. A good relationship with your primary care provider is your best defense. We are diligent about making sure your provider is kept in the loop about your care. Making sure everyone is included ensures you, the patient, has the best outcomes.
